Hotel De Londres - Lille

Londres Hotel caught my eye for its proximity to the city center and the main transport hubs. My room was neat and clean, with a comfortable bed, made for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was particularly excellent with a spacious shower that felt refreshing after a long day of exploring. Despite the location being convenient, there was noticeable street noise at night that might be bothersome for light sleepers. The room had minimal amenities, such as one towel for two adults, quite inadequate. Wi-Fi connections worked smoothly, a plus while I was on the move. Still, the decor felt a bit dated, and upgrades in certain areas like shower fittings would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Good location

After the first night the cleaning lady had taken all soap and schampoo, the next day there were no towels and the third night of my stay she didn't bother to clean the room at all. When I asked about this in the reception I was badly received. I'm a frequent visitor of Lille and will never stay at this hotel again.

I really liked the location and the simplicity of the place. The staff was sympathetic and I was relax!!!

I often travel to Lille and I always look for a hotel close to the station... So the location is perfect and I loved the fact that I could really use the free wifi.. Many hotels offer this service but is usually very crappy.

I have a bit of noise from the next room but in general that did not disturb my sleep.

peeling paint in room, shower door would not shut, price of breakfast...very expensive (6,50eur) it would be better for them to make it very pleasant (4eur) to have breakfast and that would eclipse the other stuff and they would more returns and references I am sure

The room had limited amenities.

The hotel was a reasonable base for enjoying an interesting area, really close to the train station which is so beautiful, the central railway and bus station and city centre and shopping centre. The staff was excellent, affable with every request.

The venue is clean, with amazing location just next door to many tourist destinations as well as the 2 main stations and shopping centre and Lille.

I appreciated how effortless it was to walk to amazing spots like the old stock exchange and the lovely zoo. There are tons of great restaurants just a few minutes away for a delicious meal after a day of exploring. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful .

I was on a solo cycling holiday. The staff were helpful and allowed me to store my bicycle in the reception area. (I had notified the hotel in advance. However, there is probably not enough room for more than one bicycle at a time, so this hotel may not be suitable for couples or groups on cycling trips.)

Lack of towels, tiny room, no wifi connection

Friendly staff and clean accommodations made my stay pleasant, despite the narrow stairs. The small elevator was handy, but it might be a tight squeeze for larger luggage.

The staff was wery helpful and happy to speak English. The location of the hotel is just great. There was a flat tv in my room. The room was relatively big and I had a double bed. The bed was done and towels were changed every day.

The room overlooked some roofs and I could fell smells of food.

Close to city station and not far from Eurostar/TGV station, I was in between train journeys and good location near shops. Plenty of restaurants around the area. I had a rear room, very quiet (front might be noisy over cafes and busy square)

Reception on first floor up steep steps with a door at the top which can only be opened from inside! Receptionist was friendly enough when checking in and the room looked ok though along a dark corridor. Came down for breakfast at 08.00 reception in darkness breakfast room empty no food. Again at 08.30, receptionist dealing with someone checking out, turned on coffee machine for me but then disappeared again. I never got any breakfast and as had to catch train at 09.05 I got my things and left. Still no sign of staff at 08.45.
